- Base Heat: The raw HU/t generated per rod. This is multiplied by the number of rods and any moderator bonuses.

- Fuel Cycle: The duration (in ticks) a rod lasts before becoming "Spent."
- Spent Fuel: Every rod produces a specific spent variant that can be reprocessed into isotopes or new fuel.
